⭐ Why I Ran This Lake
My husband and I were down in Pittsburg for the Steel City Con and I wanted to get a lake run in on the way back to Buffalo and Edinboro was the best option for my current training goals.
🏃 The Run
This run was as more challenging than it looked on paper. The humidity made it tough and the hills were deceptively challenging, but at the end of the day I got it done.
🌅 Scenery Notes
This run featured mostly country roads, with some small neighborhoods. There were not continuous lake views today.

🍽️ Post-Run Fuel

I grabbed pretzel sticks, a burger, and a couple of Michelob Ultras at Crossroads Dinor. I was very intentional about choosing this restaurant because of its name.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the crossroads I’ve faced throughout my life — the intersections where seemingly little decisions were made and I crossed paths with incredible people whose stories profoundly impacted my own, changing the course of my life.
So ending this particular lake run at Crossroads Dinor felt fitting. Maybe it was just a restaurant, but the name felt like a little reminder that life really is made up of crossroads — the choices we make and the people we meet along the way.
When you look back, you realize just how much those moments have shaped the person you’ve become.
