⭐ Why I Ran This Lake
After running Hoyt Lake last weekend, I happened to notice Mirror Lake on Strava. While trying to figure out the rules for this project, I have decided that as long as it is a lake with a name on a map, it counts. I decided Mirror Lake would be perfect for a quick run after work.
🏃 The Run
In terms of distance, running laps around Mirror Lake was a bit like running around a track. I was hoping for 6 miles but my legs have become incredibly tired from all the running I have been doing, so I called it quits at 5 miles.
🌅 Scenery Notes
There’s something a little different about running around a lake in a cemetery… seeing mausoleums and grave site kind of makes you think about life and how short it is. It was an incredibly peaceful and quiet settings.
