⭐ Why I Ran This Lake
With this project, I’m discovering lakes that I might not have otherwise visited. This lake is a tiny lake in the Finger Lakes region that’s just southeast of Keuka Lake. I wanted two loops but I called it a day after one.
🏃 The Run
One complete loop around Waneta Lake! Took lots of photos and just enjoyed the scenery.
🌅 Scenery Notes
Waneta Lake was especially pretty with the fall colors. There was also some lovely countryside along the way, including farms and barns that added to the scenery. It was a nice combination of lake views and rural Central New York.

I love that this project continues to take me to places I might not otherwise think to visit. Next time I’m down there, I need to visit Novak Dairy Barn & Ice Cream.
