โญ Why I Ran This Lake
My husband found Glenwood Lake, and I figured it was close enough to make a good after-work excursion. Not every lake needs to be a big adventure. Sometimes itโs just about finding somewhere new to go out for a run.
๐ The Run
One loop around Glenwood Lake. The route was mostly country roads, with corn fields along the way. It had that quiet, rural feel that makes running in this part of New York so enjoyable.
๐ Scenery Notes
The route wasnโt along the lake, but there were some great views of the Erie Canal. I actually deviated from the course I mapped out at the boat launch. I wanted to get closer to the water, take a few pictures, and actually see the lake rather than simply running around it.
Sometimes you have to make your own little detour to make sure the lake gets the attention it deserves. ๐

๐ฝ๏ธ Post-Run Fuel
We headed to Mile 303 after. I got a quesadilla and a raspberry margarita.

Next time we need to check out all the cool things to do in Medina. Cute little village!
