⭐ Why I Ran This Lake
I was looking for a smaller lake to loop for my 10-miler during my cutback week. Wanted something scenic and this was about an hour and a half drive from home.
🏃 The Run
Winter miles around Red House Lake meant enjoying the winter fun all around me. Dog walkers bundled up, snowmobilers passing through, and cross-country skiers gliding along nearby trails. Snow underfoot, steady movement, and that feeling of being a part of it rather than hiding from the season.
🌅 Scenery Notes
Snow-covered ground, frozen water, and a lot activity of around the lake. Even someone ice fishing on the lake! A winter park doing what winter parks do best.

🗒️ Notes for Next Time
This would be a great lake to revisit in different seasons, but winter adds its own energy. The Allegheny Park restaurant was also literally right there, which makes post run meals very easy!
